Las Vegas Grand Prix (F1) Traffic & Road Closure Update

Below is the latest information you will need to know for your visit to The Carriage House over the Las Vegas Grand Prix (Formula One -F1) race period.

If arriving by vehicle November 13th – 23rd please be advised access to The Carriage House will only be available from our Audrie entrance. Harmon entrance will be closed until the 26th. Guests will only be allowed one car per room. No oversized vehicles will be permitted.  The Carriage House staff will issue you an official “F1 Audrie Fast Pass” at check-in that will identify you as a Carriage House guest and allow you to access Audrie Lane (MGM Grand Hotel Casino access road) during race times. You must have your issued “F1 Audrie Lane to go to and from The Carriage House during the race period. Harmon Ave will be fully closed between 4pm to 2am during the three days, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. All other times will have intermittent access which is not guaranteed.

Walking access will be limited. A map will be provided of available access to and from our property and along Las Vegas Blvd.

Traffic will be heavy and car travel is not advised. If you are planning any activity which does not involve attending the race, it will be critical for you to make plans ahead of time as road traffic will be extremely heavy.

The Carriage House will not have any official viewing or seating areas to view the race. The Carriage House rooftop is not available for access and will be secured for safety. Race viewing is not possible as well along Las Vegas Boulevard (The Strip), the pedestrian bridges, or adjacent Casino Hotels as views will be obstructed unless you have tickets to one of these areas. Noise will be loud. Grand Prix (F1) race experiences are very loud and will be heard inside our rooms. This will include the qualifying races, Thursday, and Friday, and the main race on Saturday. The race times and noise will run past 1am on these days. We will have earplugs available upon request.

Since this is a large event, we do expect anything from scheduling delays to full changes or even cancelations in schedules. We want to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience, but it is important that you plan ahead and give yourself plenty of extra time during this entire race week period. Traveling by car during this time is not recommended.

The Carriage House is not responsible for any race-related closures, noise, delays in personal plans or restricted views of the Grand Prix (F1) Race.
